A private family in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to help maintain their home with efficiency and attention to detail.

About the Family & Household

• The household consists of two parents and five children. The children are in school during the day.
• The family values privacy and prefers to have the home to themselves when possible.
• The main residence is 6,000 sq. ft., with an additional 4,000 sq. ft. guest home, which is used occasionally.
• This is a casual, informal household that requires daily upkeep rather than formal service.

Schedule & Responsibilities

• Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (at the latest).
• The role is primarily focused on daily housekeeping tasks, including:
  ? Making beds and refreshing rooms.
  ? Cleaning bathrooms and tidying living spaces.
  ? Laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes.
  ? Light organizing and maintaining order throughout the home.
  ? Running errands, such as dropping off/picking up dry cleaning as needed.
  ? Self-managing tasks and taking initiative to keep the home running smoothly.
• Deep cleaning or seasonal tasks may be outsourced to an additional cleaning service.

Ideal Candidate

• Discreet, professional, and respectful of privacy.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage household tasks efficiently and work independently.
• Open to assisting with office cleaning one day per week, if needed.
• Must have outstanding reference, be of high energy, of a polite friendly personality "can-do-approach"
• Must have a clean background to apply
• Must be communicate clearly in English, take phone message and text  

Compensation & Benefits

$35–$40 per hour, averaging 40 hours per week. ($75k to $80k per year depending on experience) 
Two weeks of paid vacation.
One week of paid sick leave.
Potential contribution towards medical benefits.
