Housekeeper - Ponte Vedra PLACED

Our client, who is a down-to-earth businessman in Ponte Vedra, is in search of an upbeat, energetic housekeeper. The home is 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, has a pool and jacuzzi in a screened lanai, and a guest house. Our client is a single dad who has his 2 school-aged children every other week, will often have guests over, and has 1 large dog.

 

Responsibilities

*general cleaning of all common areas

*inspecting baseboards for dust, scuffs- clean as needed

*inspecting ceiling fans and door frames for dust

*dishes, kitchen appliance maintenance

*Pantry organization- track inventory, stock pantry and refrigerator as needed

*laundry- washed, dried, folded, hung

*dry cleaning- drop off, pick-up, tracking

* wardrobe organization and management

*changing linens, making beds, assisting children in cleaning room as needed

*packing and unpacking for travel as needed

*preparing lunches and snacks for children

*preparing pool towels, pool toys, and stocking outside refrigerator for children and guests

*ensuring the pool area is clear of obstacles, debris

*preparing guest house as needed

*ensuring the dog is let outside every couple of hours, refreshing her water as needed, walking her if there is time

 

Requirements

*Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, occasional Saturdays may be required with notice

*Salary: $22 per hour

*minimum of 3 years cleaning private homes, preferably with guest service experience

*must be comfortable with children

*must be comfortable with large dogs- per client: the dog is sweet and well-trained

*must pass a background check

*must have a current driver’s license
