Housekeeper - Ponte Vedra Beach PLACED
A full-time housekeeper is needed to support a lovely couple in their waterfront home in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, near Jacksonville. The couple will consider a live-in or live-out candidate. The home is 7,500 sq ft, 5 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, with a pool. The couple lives alone and have adult children who visit often. Additionally, they have a full-time personal assistant and chef on staff.
There are 3 large service dogs in the home, all trained and well behaved; duties may include taking the dogs out to the restroom or feeding.
Mrs. is wheelchair-bound and may need minimal support when the PA is not available to move items from the closet, reach items, etc.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a quiet and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Breakfast
- Dinner (when chef Francois is off)
- Closets
- Laundry
- Ironing
- Washing and ironing sheets (once a week)
- towels, bathmats (every other day)
- Pool towels (placement and removal at the end of the day)
- Water in gym with lemons
- Water by pool
- Outdoor furniture arrangement and wiping of tables
- Outdoor pillow fluffing
- Outdoor plants watering
- Cleaning and organization of entire house
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, bathrooms
- Making beds
- Pillow fluffing, glass cleaning
- Front door cleaning daily
- Windows every other day
- Sweeping deck and front steps
- Cleaning gym and wiping down equipment, mopping
- Cleaning the sauna once every two weeks
- Wiping down plantation shutters
- Nightly turn down with fresh water
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with occasional Saturday support (up to 50-55 hours per week, if possible).
- Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 annual - negotiable for the right candidate
- Sign on bonus
