Housekeeper - Coral Gables, Miami - HOLD

A single British gentleman and his girlfriend are in need of a housekeeper and butler/manager for their waterfront, 6,000 square feet mansion in Coral Gables, FL. The principal requires support 7 days per week. Days off will be traded between the schedules of the butler/manager and the housekeeper.

Housekeeper

Full-time, bi-lingual housekeeper needed to support estate and oversee all aspects of housekeeping duties. Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
• Basic laundry, tracking dry-cleaning, and knowledge of stain removal techniques
• Wardrobe management/ packing and unpacking
• Inventory management
• Turn down service
• Run errands & stock the kitchen and service kitchen
• General home maintenance of common areas; noting leaks, HVAC issues, ensuring that all remotes are fully charged, and sharing problematic maintenance issues with the Butler/manager. Our client is looking for a team spirit, someone with a can-do-attitude
• Prepare bed rooms and linens for principal and guests
• Basic management of vendors – watching maintenance providers, and sharing any issues with security
• Must be tech savvy – text, e-mail capability, order supplies on line
• Must be highly organized
• Willing to have flexibility in their schedule
• Additional support may be brought in once the client has moved into the home

Position Details

• Salary: $45,000 to $60,000 for highly qualified candidates
• Benefits package available after 90-day trial period
• Availability to start March 5-10
• Schedule will be 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexibility
• Must be willing to travel to the principal’s home in the Caribbean for housekeeping support, as needed
