Highland, Park - Full Time Housekeeper / Executive Housekeeper
We are seeking a skilled and reliable full-time - Housekeeper/Executive Housekeeper to manage a beautiful home in Highland Park. As a Housekeeper/Executive Housekeeper your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of our clients' homes or properties. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a welcoming and sanitary environment.
This house is home to an affluent, old-money gentleman and involves looking for a candidate with a combination of experience, discretion, and sophistication. An understanding and respect for the customs and traditions that might be important to an old-money family.
Local candidates or candidates with prior experiecne working in Dallas only at this time.
Schedule: Flexibility with 40-hour work week & some weekends possible if needed, when the family is in residence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces in assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all areas meet or exceed hygiene standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and tidy up rooms.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Run all appliances weekly, and create a maintenance checklist.
- Order online, use door-dash, shop at Costco, and manage orders and returns from Amazon.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and promptly addressing their concerns or requests.
- Adhere to established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. The family likes to use specific cleaning products. Must read and understand cleaning directions and follow them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Follow privacy and security protocols to safeguard clients' personal belongings and confidential information.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if required.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Oversee, schedule, and manage vendors when the family is away from residence.
- Flexibility with schedule, 40 hours. Weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a detailed criminal background check.
- Must have a clean, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
Compensation:
- $65,000 - $75,000 D/O/E
