A warm and gracious family in Sandy Springs, Georgia is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to oversee the daily care of a beautiful private residence primarily supporting a senior lady who lives full-time in the home and entertains periodically. The family visits from time to time, and the home reflects a warm, Southern hospitality-driven atmosphere.

The Home

  • Approximately 5,000–6,000 sq. ft.

  • 5 bedrooms / 5.5 bathrooms

  • Daily use is limited to one bedroom and one bathroom upstairs, plus a half bath downstairs

  • Well-maintained, orderly home with a calm, respectful environment

About the Principal

The client is physically fit, active, and independent, with a very Southern, polite, and engaging demeanor. She values professionalism, kindness, discretion, and consistency, and truly appreciates her household support. She travels periodically to visit family and grandchildren.

Responsibilities

  • Full housekeeping and detailed cleaning

  • Laundry and linen care

  • Maintaining household inventories and supplies

  • Running local errands

  • Receiving packages and bringing them in from the porch

  • Greeting guests and vendors at the door

  • Overseeing vendors and service providers while on site

  • Answering the phone and taking messages

  • Occasional assistance with transportation to medical appointments

  • Light assistance with email correspondence (a plus, but not required)

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Highly organized and proactive

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Clean driving record

  • Must have a clear command of English

Compensation & Benefits

  • $38–$45 per hour, depending on experience

  • Full-time position

  • Two weeks paid vacation

  • One week paid sick leave
