Executive Housekeeper - Washington D.C. 20037
We are looking for a candidate with previous private-house experience who has excellent attention to detail, who is proactive, a dog lover and flexible. The family has recently relocated to USA from London, and are semi-formal.
Local Candidates preferred for immediate availability. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm with 2 days off per week and average 40 hrs per week.
The apartment is 5,000 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Two adults and one teenage daughter in the home. Two older children attend University and visit from time to time. There are 3 dogs, but no dog walking is required.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous private-house housekeeping/laundry experience
- Dog-lover
- Well presented, proactive, friendly, and flexible
- Good level of spoken English
- Driving license not a requirement
Job Duties:
- Daily cleaning to a high standard.
- Presentation of the interior to a high standard.
- Experience with and great care to be taken with special finishes – Marble, Wood, Granite.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area (no cooking).
- Making beds and changing linens.
- Sorting, washing, unloading laundry – confident with delicates and handwashing items.
- Ironing to a high standard
- Running local errands, shopping, and managing deliveries.
Salary and Benefits:
- $70,000 - $80,000 per year depending on previous experience

Must have excellent prior tenure and references. Must be in excellent health.
