Housekeeper willing to support childcare periodically
A lovely family in the Westlake neighborhood of Dallas, TX, is seeking a full-time housekeeper who is willing to assist in caring for their two young children as needed.
The home is large, open-plan, and free of clutter. Mom and dad are young professionals seeking a candidate who is flexible with scheduling and free to stay late periodically. The ideal candidate would be available to babysit some weekends.
The home is informal, busy, and full of life. This fast-paced casual family requires someone who is quick on their feet, can self-manage, and is highly detailed.
It is essential to have an excellent driving record and enjoy being part of a team. The family is very appreciative and generous; they would love to find a candidate with an upbeat personality who is happy to come to work every day and is without personal drama.
The responsibilities for this position are:
- Housekeeping, laundry, cleaning patio areas cleaning, general household cleaning
- Cleaning the kitchen after the children eat breakfast and leave for school, assisting getting the children off to school
- Wash sheets, make beds and clean bathrooms
- Run errands, at times collect the children from school and give them snacks
- Assist with food shopping and preparation
- Run errands, must be tech-savvy and can communicate clearly in English
- Watch and assist with scheduling vendors
Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- 30 hours a week, from 7.45am through 4.45pm, client is flexible with the schedule
- Salary:$35 per hour/benefits contribution
- Two weeks paid vacation/ One week of sick leave
- Valid driver’s license is required
- A minimum of 3-year experience as a private housekeeper/with childcare support or similar role
- Must pass a details background check, and drug screening
