Chef/Housekeeper

An elderly couple in Ponte Vedra are in need of a private chef and housekeeper.

Their home is two stories, located near the water, has four bedrooms, and six bathrooms. They have one small dog in the home.

 

The couple travels for several months throughout the year. They require a candidate that can manage the care of the property in their absence.

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare healthy, delicious meals that focus on nutrition
• Clean the kitchen, store foods properly, rotate items in the refrigerator and pantry
• Clean appliances routinely
• Sanitize all surfaces and door handles, understanding COVID precautions
• Clean the bathrooms
• Organize the home, storage spaces, closets, etc.
• Floor care- limestone, slate, marble, and carpeted flooring throughout the home
• Handwashing the pots/pans
• Empty the trash receptacles
• Complete all laundry duties to include ironing clothes and linens, stain removal, folding, putting clothes away
• Clean the windows and blinds
• Grocery shopping
• Run errands
• Assist with party preparations
• Housesitting while the principals are away

A knowledge of securing properties would be advantageous.

 

 

Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal background check and MVR
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in domestics

 

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 annually

• Medical contribution is provided
