Housekeeper

Part-time housekeeper will maintain the order, cleanliness, and organization of a single-family residence, newlywed husband and wife.

Key attributes are attention to detail, highly organized and ability to multi-task.

Ideal flexible schedule would be three times per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00am to 2:00/3:00pm OR twice per week on Monday and Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Duties while Homeowners are on Property

• Clean living areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean the kitchen, including wiping down counters, appliances, cabinet doors, and sinks
• Wash, dry, and put dishes away
• Clean washbasins, mirrors, toilets, tubs, showers, and cabinets
• Wash, fold, iron and put away clothes and linens/towels
• Dry cleaning management
• Change bed linens and make beds per owner’s preference
• Change towels in bathrooms as needed
• Restock personal items such as tissues, toilet paper, etc.
• Empty trash bins throughout the residence on a regular basis
• Remove recycling and garbage every Monday for Tuesday curbside pickup
• Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements
• Monitor grocery and household supplies to maintain adequate levels
• Pack and unpack boxes and personal travel luggage at owner’s request
• Meet and greet service providers on property and direct to location of service
• Collect mail and packages at mailbox, gates and main house and place in residence

Duties while Homeowners are NOT on Property

• Clean living areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
• Change bed linens and make beds as needed
• Change towels in bathrooms as needed
• Wash interior windows
• Deep clean refrigerator
• Deep clean food pantry
• Deep clean stove/oven
• Deep clean bathrooms
• Wipe down all baseboards
• Closet organizing, decluttering, etc.
• Polish silver / flatware / service pieces
• Dust ceiling fan blades
• Deep clean gym & gym equipment
• Restock personal items such as tissues, toilet paper, etc.
• Empty trash bins throughout the residence on a regular basis
• Remove recycling and garbage every Monday for Tuesday curbside pickup
• Monitor grocery and household supplies to maintain adequate levels
• Meet and greet service providers on property and direct to location of service
• Collect mail and packages at mailbox, gates and main house and place in residence
• All special projects as assigned by homeowners.
• Note: If a holiday occurs on a workday, the housekeeper can work on the holiday or work another day during the week the holiday occurs. Holidays included are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4^th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
