Housekeeper/Cook/Companion PLACED

Seeking a well-versed, easy going, no-drama Housekeeper/Companion to work for a recently widowed lady in Winnetka, off Hill Road.

The home consists of 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and a large screened-in back porch. This individual will be responsible for housekeeping, laundry, driving this wonderful senior to appointments, assisting with calendar management, walking the small dog, Molly, and supporting with tracking and replenishing of medications. Playing cards, attending social clubs and exercise classes with our client are all part of the flexibility needed to succeed in this role.

Our consultant in Chicago will assist the family with on-boarding the right candidate. Additionally, a member of our team will perform monthly site inspections for the first six months. You will report to our client’s son who lives locally.

Qualifications:

• Local, experienced candidates with a minimum of 5 years housekeeping experience preferred

• Clean driver’s license required

• A full background check will be conducted and references verified

• Experienced with seniors is a plus. (CNA/LPN experience would be desirable)

• Comfortable texting and comminating via e-mail

• Clear command of English

Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10am-4:30pm, Saturday, 10am-12noon

Salary: $25/hr.
