Location: Cincinnati, OH (45040) with secondary property near Columbus, OH (43079)
Compensation: $80K to $85k (based on experience) + Medical Stipend + PTO + possible housing stipend + relocation assistance
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm (No weekend coverage required)
Position Overview:
A wonderful kind retired single lady is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support her primary residence in Cincinnati and a secondary lake home near Columbus. Both properties are approximately 3,000 sq. ft. The primary focus will be the Cincinnati home, with occasional travel to the Columbus property during the summer months.
The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining fine homes, antiques, hardwood floors, porcelain, and high-end furnishings using natural cleaning products. This is a live-out position, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm - offering long-term stability and a competitive hourly rate/yearly salary - W-2.
Responsibilities:
- Full housekeeping for both residences (primary focus on Cincinnati home)
- Care and maintenance of hardwood floors, antiques, porcelain, and waxed furniture using natural cleaning products (Murphy’s Oil Soap, vinegar and water, SIMONIZ paste)
- Laundry, ironing, pressing, and steaming
- Organization and inventory management (including assisting with consolidating furniture and personal effects, arranging items, and donating as needed)
- Light food prep (washing vegetables, preparing salads, basic meal setup)
- Plant care, porch cleaning, sweeping walkways, and general tidiness
- Running errands as needed
- Comfortable around dogs (small terrier in the home)
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in a private home setting
- Strong references from previous employers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Experience with natural cleaning methods and maintaining fine furnishings
- Ability to manage tasks independently
- Comfortable with occasional travel to the lake home
- Candidates open to relocation may be considered (housing stipend possible for first 3 months)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Medical stipend (approx. $300/month)
