A private family based in Tucson is seeking an experienced, highly capable Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to support their growing household.
The ideal candidate is confident in caring for children, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable serving as a trusted extension of the parents when needed.
This is a long-term, high-trust role within a discreet private household.
Children
The family currently has children 15, 7 and new baby coming soon.
The mother is very involved and hands-on, though she travels periodically. She is seeking a professional who can confidently help maintain structure, routine, and consistency for the children during both daily life and travel periods.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare
• Provide attentive care for children
• Assist with potty training and sleep training
• Support infant and newborn care
• Maintain routines, structure, and positive discipline
• Serve as a parental figure when parents are traveling
Daily Activities
• School pick-ups
• Coordinate and transport children to after-school activities
• Prepare dinner for the children
• Manage evening routines before returning home
Typical scheduled hours:
Split schedule
Family Assistant Duties
• Maintain organization and tidiness in children’s spaces
• Confidently manage strollers, car seats, and travel gear
• Provide support as a mother’s helper
• Plan activities, outings, and children’s schedules
• Assist with family organization and list management
• Support family travel preparation and logistics
Travel
The family travels every three weeks for 7–10 days.
During travel periods, the nanny will provide increased support and flexibility, assisting the family as needed throughout the trip.
Schedule
- Typical weekday hours: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday and Sunday off
• When the family travels, hours may increase and the schedule will adjust accordingly
Ideal Candidate
The family is seeking a professional who is:
- Highly proactive and self-directed
• Comfortable caring for multiple young children simultaneously
• Confident managing strollers, car seats, and travel logistics
• Experienced with infants, toddlers, and early childhood development
• Warm, calm, and organized
• Discreet and professional
• Comfortable working closely with the mother and reporting directly to her
Compensation & Benefits
- $130,000 - $150,000 annual compensation
• Paid time off and vacation
• Healthcare stipend
• Long-term position within a respectful private household
Accommodation is not included.
The family also utilizes occasional babysitting support and plans to hire a night nurse once the new baby arrives.
