We are seeking a highly suitable candidate to serve as a Companion / medically trained caregiver for our VIP Owner – a 74-year-old Californian gentleman who lives with Parkinson’s Disease. The Owner leads a dynamic lifestyle, participating in activities such as swimming, snorkeling, wakeboarding, and kite-surfing. Despite the challenges of Parkinson’s, he maintains an active, positive outlook and desires a companion who shares his enthusiasm for life and values genuine, upbeat company. This is a unique opportunity for someone who can provide both assistance with daily activities and be a supportive, engaging presence on his travels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Daily Activities: Support the Owner with daily tasks, ensuring safety, well-being, and comfort while being attentive to his needs.
• Health and Medication Management: Help ensure timely administration of medication and assist with any necessary health-related needs.
• Wardrobing: Assist the Owner with clothing choices, ensuring comfort and style for each occasion.
• Anticipating Needs: Proactively anticipate the Owner’s needs, offering assistance before being asked.
• Positive Interaction: Maintain an upbeat, engaging, and lighthearted demeanor at all times, promoting a positive atmosphere during travel and daily activities.
• Travel Assistance: Accompany the Owner on world travels by private jet, assisting with his needs and ensuring smooth transitions during trips.
• Yacht & VIP Lifestyle: Experience and contribute to the luxury yacht lifestyle, providing support on board the yacht and at various destinations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Ideally, some experience in a similar role, especially in the luxury yacht or villa setting, but training will be provided.
• Personality: Must be caring, conscientious, hard-working, and have a lively sense of humor. A genuine passion for helping others and an upbeat attitude are essential.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to be self-driven, learn quickly, and anticipate the Owner’s needs with minimal direction.
• Adaptability: Capable of keeping up with the Owner’s dynamic lifestyle, participating in various activities, and adjusting as necessary.
• Travel Flexibility: Must be willing to travel globally, including remote locations, and live aboard the yacht when the Owner is on board.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to assist with light physical tasks and activities as required.
