Executive Housekeeper/House manager with cooking abilities needed to support a primary residence and guest casitas on a large Texan/Mexican border ranch.

Our clients, a senior couple, reside twice a month, for a week or weekend, 45-60 days a year. Sometimes, they may bring family or guests, so thinking ahead, understating guest preferences, and ordering specialty items for the principals and guests would be necessary. Communicating, sending weekly and monthly updates to the family office, and sharing information as a team player working with the Ranch Director would be required. Clear communication with other house managers would also be necessary, as well as sharing information and improving standards while ensuring the uniformity of standards.

The home is 15,000 sq ft and sits on 14 acres. There are 10 bedrooms between three buildings - 5 guest casitas, totaling 17 buildings on the property.

There are three housekeepers and three groundspeople assigned to maintain the home.

The manager is responsible for all the internal operations, hospitality, and daily maintenance.

The home is resort-like and formal; at times, 'White Glove' service is expected. The manager is expected to maintain a five-star level of service.

The family seeks a proactive manager who will perform weekly checks on all operating systems. It could be as simple as running the TV, making sure that all Apps are functioning and up to date, that all remote batteries are changed per their life cycle, checking existing dates on all products, rebooting media towers, checking filers and pumps, looking for leaks or blockages, etc. Create and maintain weekly, monthly, and yearly checklists. The home has a beautiful pool area, wine tasting room, climate-controlled cellar, and cigar room, which is also climate-controlled. Having a clear understanding of facilities management or similar experience managing and maintaining sophisticated operating systems would be advantageous.

The family is active and has many activities on the property: pickleball courts, horse stables, clay shooting, a golf driving range, and a private runway. Having prior experience working with interior designers, architects, and family offices would be advantageous.

The manager will oversee standards and implement and improve SOPS and the existing house manual. The ideal candidate will inspire the current staff -and provide training and team-building experiences. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptive, resourceful, tech-savvy, financially aware, proactive, calm, confident, friendly, and understand boundaries. As the property is remote, a proactive approach is necessary.

The manager will work with the existing 'Director of Ranches' and his team, who oversee this 110,000+ acre functioning farm. The property is remote and beautiful.

A beautifully appointed private three-bedroom house on the property is offered to the successful candidate.
