A lovely husband and wife are seeking to hire a full-time Executive Housekeeper/House Manager for their 12,000 sq ft home in Preston Hallow, Dallas, TX.
Duties will include lite daily house cleaning - tidying, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, wardrobe management, pet care, running errands, ordering supplies online, and maintaining inventories. The management of vendors and managing the house while the couple is out of town will be expected. A cleaning crew comes in once per month to do a heavy detailed clean.
The couple has two dogs and a beloved cat. They have a hallway that is lined in glass and Mrs. has mentioned that the dogs have a habit of putting their nose on the glass, it has to be constantly wiped and cleaned.
This is a casual, informal, and friendly home. The couple are looking for someone who has long-term intent and has the skills to not only clean, but also manage.
The ideal candidate must be physically fit, highly detailed, able to self-manage, and take the initiative. They must have a budget mindset and be able to keep a close eye on vendors to ensure the family is not being taken advantage of; ex. If a pipe doesn’t need to be replaced, ensure that it is repaired instead.
The couple has a farm 1.5 hours outside of Dallas. The ideal candidate would be willing to travel to the farm and help with maintenance when needed.
