Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable live-in Housekeeper for a lovely family in Atlanta, GA. As the family housekeeper, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of our client’s 9,000 sq ft, 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom home. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a welcoming and sanitary environment.

The home is informal. The family prides themselves on bringing someone in and treating them like family. You would have the basement to yourself, with a private bedroom, bathroom, refrigerator, TV, and living space. Meals are provided.

The home is three stories with 6-bedroom and 6-bathrooms, though only 4 of the bedrooms are regularly used and will need to be tidied daily. This job requires flexibility in schedule – not everything needs to be done daily and there are no set hours. You are essentially there to help the family with daily cleaning and sanitizing so that they can focus on their careers.

The family has two daughters, ages 11 and 13. You will be asked to help drive the girls to after school activities, but its important to note that this is NOT a nanny position. Primary responsibilities will be surrounding daily housekeeping duties.

The family has a small dog who they would need let out and fed. The dog is hypoallergenic, so he does not shed.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces in assigned areas.
2. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all areas meet or exceed hygiene standards.
3. Make beds, change linens, and tidy up rooms.
4. Stock and replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
5. Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables.
6. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the appropriate personnel.
7. Maintain a friendly and happy demeanor.
8. Adhere to established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
9. Follow privacy and security protocols to safeguard clients' personal belongings and confidential information.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a residential setting.
2. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
3. Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
6. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if required.
7. Good communication skills.
8. Professional and reliable work ethic.
9. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Must:

Have a valid driver’s license.

Pass a full criminal background check.

Have excellent, verifiable references.

Salary:

$1,000/ week

Possible medical stipend
