In West Lake, Dallas, TX, a lovely family seeks to hire an Executive Housekeeper/Manager.
The family of four just moved from NY to their new W. Lake modern home, which consists of 6,200 sq. ft of living space. There are five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Mr. travels extensively for work, and Mrs. works from home and needs that person who can anticipate, plan and care for her home when working. Additionally, keeping an eye on the children when she is on the phone or a Zoom call would be part of the new hire’s responsibilities.
Regular cleaning, laundry, dusting, and vacuuming support would be part of this role. The family is informal and wants someone willing to lend a hand anywhere when needed. At times you might have to collect their little boy, who is 4, from kindergarten or watch their daughter, who is a year-old little toddler.
Someone self-motivated will succeed in this role; Mrs. does not want to micro-manage anyone. She wants a candidate to come in and schedule the gardener if a plant is dying, schedule the window cleaner, have a team come in and perform monthly deep cleaning, prepare the house for seasonal cleaning, and be aware of any regular maintenance issues.
The ability to order supplies on Amazon, ensuring that cleaning supplies are always stocked and if there is time, help prepare dinner before leaving at 5 pm.
Someone who is tech-savvy and can communicate clearly is essential to Mrs.
