Chef/Manager/Executive Housekeeper - PLACED
A lovely family of five living on Venetian Causeway, Miami is looking for a skilled Chef/Manager/Executive housekeeper to support them in their home, and vactation farm in Homestead. The home is 6,500 sq ft, has 7-bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, and there are outside living areas. The family has an additional home in Homestead, Miami.
The family consists of three children, a 4 year of and two 7-year-old, and the family dog. The home is informal and busy.
The role:
The ideal candidate will take full charge of all aspects of cleaning and laundry
Initiate seasonal cleaning and have an understanding of oceanfront living
Assist with managing vendors, invoices etc
Run errands, possibly gas, and wash the car if running errands
Someone who takes the initiative and can self-manage
Is tech-savvy, be comfortable using Uber, ordering on Amazon
Can manage inventory control, ensure that the home is stocked
Support and manage the laundry, and track dry cleaning
Support basic food preparation for the children (if someone has the talent to leave dinner for the parents, it would be greatly appreciated)
Willing to house sit when the family travel
Must be able to take clear messages and have an excellent command of English
Understand safety and security for the family and the home
The present staff, a houseman, and nannies have supported the cleanliness and maintenance of the home. The houseman continues to supports heavy cleaning and maintenance. It’s a team effort, and the new hire will need to be a team player. This a no-drama, informal busy home.
As the children are older and in school, 1 nanny retired, and the other has taken another opportunity elsewhere.
The family would like to find someone who will stay with them for a long time. The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of employment in one position to be considered at a minimum.
Due to the present pandemic, the family would like to find a candidate who understands COVID and has been vaccinated.
Must pass a full criminal and credit background
Have a current clean driver license
Must have verifiable references from previous employers to be considered

$70- $80,000 Yearly D/O/E
