Head/Executive Housekeeper

Mon. – Fri. 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, etc. Roxbury, CT

Salary $110k to $120K for the right candidate - plus benefits and a housing stipend

Reports to Estate Manager

The Head Housekeeper shall assume full responsibility for the maintenance and appearance of the Principal’s fromal residence – a 10,000 sq. ft. main residence and a 2,500 sq. ft. two bedroom guest house, and in general provide services as outlined in the household manual.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision, direction, and control over general housekeeping and cleaning duties. This position requires hands-on housekeeping day to day
• House sitting when needed
• Some cooking and grocery shopping as needed (there is a Chef in the home)
• Dog care and dog sitting
• Dishwashing, laundry and ironing
• Plant care
• Branch and floral arrangements
• Keeping track of inventory, running errands
• Implement and manage special projects as needed
• Providing assistance with packing and unpacking
• Serving at meals as needed and dinner parties
• Prepare for guests and entertaining
• From time to time, Head Housekeeper may be asked to travel to other residences
• This position primarily consists of a Monday-Friday schedule, approximately 40-50 hours per week with the

flexibility for extended hours, weekend days and holidays when needed

• Full benefits package after 60 days of employment

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be able to assist in the overall smooth running of the household including overseeing other housekeeping staff and assisting with vendors
• Must be polished, poised and professional, use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and able to multi-task
• High proficiency in all aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning and special surfaces
