Salary: $90,000–$100,000 + $400 Monthly Medical Stipend
A wonderful individual based in Awendaw, South Carolina, is seeking a highly capable, service-minded Estate Manager to help bring organization, structure, and support to his daily life and estate operations.
This is a newly created position and a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, proactive, and genuinely enjoys helping others improve their quality of life. This is not a formal estate environment. The principal is down-to-earth, informal, and creative, and the property reflects a relaxed, somewhat bohemian atmosphere.
The estate consists of a primary residence, guest houses, outbuildings, and multiple structures spread throughout the property. While cleaning services and outside vendors assist with certain tasks, the principal is seeking someone who can serve as his right hand and ensure everything is operating smoothly.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily meal preparation (2 meals per day)
- Weekly meetings with principal regarding his schedule to determine priorities
- Maintaining principal's personal calendar
- Scheduling personal appointments and meetings as requested
- Managing mail and packages
- Ensuring indoor and outdoor plants are maintained
- Submitting receipts as purchases are made
- Kitchen maintenance (including emptying the dishwasher, taking out the trash, and managing refrigerator contents)
- Overseeing and maintaining the grounds daily, as needed
- Maintaining principal's desired stock of groceries and household supplies
- On-site management of property vendors
- Weekly progress reporting on projects
- Providing a hospitable environment for guests in the home
- Contractor sourcing, scheduling, and direct supervision
- Budget tracking and cost-control coordination
- Quality assurance across all trades and installations
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making on-site
Compensation & Benefits
