Our clients require a houseman/hands-on house manager to maintain their 9,000 sq ft home, newly built. The young couple is looking for a professional willing to lend a hand around the house, a team player with common sense, who can assist with the organisation/cataloging/installation/management of vendors and set-up of this beautiful new property.
Responsibilities:
- Track incoming boxes and ensure that returns happen according to return policy
- label and catalog items
- Food preparation
- Maintain the cleanliness of the home's exterior, assist and oversee seasonal planting & watering
- Using power equipment and specialty equipment during the summer months
- Supporting and managing the landscaping vendors and lawn care as needed
- Supported basic interior cleaning- floors, fireplaces, storage rooms, and organization
- Perform routine maintenance to the home- changing light bulbs, troubleshooting, garage door repair, etc.
- Preparation for the winter season – bring furniture in and winterize outside water spickets, etc.
- Assistance with event set-up and break-down
- Garbage and recycling removal
- Washing, gassing, vacuuming, wiping for the interior of vehicles
- Complete other small projects on the estate, have an eye for detail, and be highly organized
- At times, support Mr. on a Saturday with small projects that he can't do alone
- Must be Tech-Savvy and comfortable trouble shooting the media-tower, security systems, etc.
This position is for a skilled houseman/housewoman/handyman/house manager with property maintenance experience. The environment is casual but active. The candidate will take direction well and must have common sense, be physically active, and have the ability to complete tasks independently.
Immediate start for qualified candidates
Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM
- Salary: $70k to $80k a year D/O/E, 40 hours per week

- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have experience in handyman, property maintenance, and/or houseman
- Knowledge of power equipment and heavy equipment is advantageous
