Personal Assistant/House Manager needed to oversee a beautiful historical home in St. Louis, MO, 63108, currently being rehabbed. The home was built in 1890 and is on the national register. 

Local candidates preferred.

Our clients are busy professionals running two businesses. They work long days and are gone in the morning until late evening. They have one daughter who lives away from home, at University. 

Due to their busy professional lives, managing the reconstruction has become overwhelming. The couple are friendly and outgoing and need a PA/House Manager to oversee their sizeable seven-bathroom home in the St. Louis suburbs. 

This role requires somebody who is hands-on and has excellent vendor management skills, excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. 

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to self-manage, highly energetic, and take initiative. 

This is a newly created role. Our clients seek somebody who understands boundaries and parameters and is highly organized, well-traveled, and professional.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage vendors.
  • Schedule reservations and appointments.
  • Create highly detailed travel reservations and itineraries. Must enjoy researching the best restaurants and activities for the family, presenting multiple options. 
  • Maintain all travel documents.
  • Work with architects and interior designers and oversee installs.
  • Manage the one Housekeeper and be willing to assist her if she needs an extra pair of hands.
  • Manage seasonal gifting and decor. 
  • Managed vehicles, insurance, maintenance, etc.
  • Manage all insurance on the property.
  • Screen and manage vendors, ensuring they are licensed, bonded, and insured.
  • Manage the house seasonally, ensuring the home is ready for the winter/summer.
  • Heavy calendar management.
  • Must be tech-savvy and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ideally, be from St. Louis and have connections in the area.
  • Provide end-of-day reports.
  • Have bookkeeping skills with the ability to pay invoices, etc.
  • Assist with the couples parents, checking in on them throughout the day. 

Salary:
Depending on prior experience in the range of $100,000.00 to $140,000.00
