Overview
A prestigious private estate in Dorado, Puerto Rico, is seeking a dedicated Household Manager and Estate Handyman to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a 20,000 sq. ft. residence. These are full-time, live-in positions ideal for a professional couple or highly skilled individuals.
Position 1: Household Manager
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals, catering to dietary preferences and special occasions.
- Oversee and perform deep cleaning, ensuring all areas of the residence remain pristine.
- Organize household supplies, manage inventory, and handle stocking needs.
- Care for laundry, ironing, and proper maintenance of delicate garments.
- Provide exceptional guest services, including hosting and event coordination.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in household management, cooking, and high-level housekeeping.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
- Discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to relocate and live on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico.
Position 2: Estate Handyman
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine property inspections and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Perform basic repairs such as patching walls, replacing fixtures, and minor carpentry.
- Oversee outdoor maintenance, including landscaping, pool care, and exterior upkeep.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and home systems are in optimal condition.
- Respond promptly to repair requests and manage urgent issues effectively.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
- Physical capability to manage estate-wide tasks.
- Discretion, reliability, and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to relocate and live on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary $160k to $220K housing provided, and additional benefits negotiable based on experience.
2 weeks vacation, one week of sick leave
Medical Contribution
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage from time to time
