Location: River Oaks, Houston
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday | Approximately 9:30 AM – 6:00/7:00 PM (flexibility required)
Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annually + Full Benefits Package + P/T/O
Position Overview
A large, fully staffed private residence in River Oaks is seeking a polished and highly organized Personal Assistant with strong House Management experience to support the Principal and work collaboratively alongside the existing House Manager. This is a dynamic, hands-on role blending personal support with operational oversight, ideal for someone who is discreet, proactive, and comfortable navigating both administrative and household environments.
The right candidate brings a calm, solutions-oriented presence — someone who can anticipate needs, pivot seamlessly when priorities shift, and maintain professionalism at all times. Conversational French is strongly preferred to support communication and lifestyle needs within the home. Spanish would be advantageous. Travel required from time to time in the US and internationally in the summer to France.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Lead House Manager to ensure seamless household operations
• Coordinate calendars, appointments, and personal scheduling with discretion and accuracy; tech-savvy and confident with smart home technology
• Serve as a trusted Personal Assistant to the Principal, managing day-to-day logistics and priorities
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers; assist with project follow-through
• Support household staff and act as a collaborative team player within a structured environment
• Run personal and household errands as needed
• Assist with menu coordination, small gatherings, and lifestyle logistics
• Maintain inventories, oversee household organization, and anticipate daily needs
• Support travel planning and on-the-ground coordination when required
• Communicate clearly and professionally, particularly with a Principal who prefers verbal interaction
Candidate Profile
- Experienced Personal Assistant with prior House Management or Estate support background
• Conversational French ideally; additional languages a plus - Spanish
• Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
• Polished, discreet, mature and emotionally intelligent — able to read a room and adapt quickly
• Calm, flexible, and solution-focused under pressure
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work alongside an established team
• Hospitality or service-driven background highly valued
