We are seeking a house manager for a beautiful home in Philadelphia, PA, zip code 19103. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a lady in her early 60s who is very active and healthy. She currently lives in a full-service building alone and is self-sufficient. She has a vacation home at the beach where her children were all raised, and she visits there periodically. At the beach house, a pool landscaping and support team helps out when the house is full of guests in the summer. The principal is a very fair, respectful, somewhat humble lady who appreciates her private time and is looking for someone who has Other attributes to support her.
The principal has a small dog who must be walked, fed, and taken to veterinary appointments. She has two adult children, one married with a grandchild, who visit on holidays or for special occasions. The principal's daughter has a cat, so the right candidate wouldn't need to be comfortable around cats and dogs.
The ideal candidate does not need to be a cook, but having basic cooking skills would be greatly appreciated. The principal could be more adventurous regarding food, so I emphasize that our client is looking for somebody who enjoys healthy living, is respectful, and understands boundaries. The perfect candidate can make decisions with little guidance and use common sense.
There is a cleaning crew at both properties which perform deep cleaning. The ideal candidate would support daily graces - cleaning the kitchen, making the bed, cleaning the bathroom, putting in laundry, and light housekeeping responsibilities. The perfect candidate needs to be able to drive to help run errands.
The home is very casual but beautifully appointed, so we are seeking an individual who is laid back, but who can be professional when needed. Invisible service would be highly desirable; someone who can manage appointments.
The role is live-out, but when the principal goes to the shore guest house, the candidate has a separate apartment on the property to reside in. The vacation home is on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Usually, our client will fill up to three months in the summers at that residence. The ideal candidate is confidential, compassionate, and service focused.

Salary
$100,000 to $130,000 D.O.E.
Must have excellent verifiable references.
Must pass a full criminal background check.
