The House Manager/Personal Assistant 

Manage a seasonal 18,000 sq.ft. home in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with guest cabana and pool house.

• 3 Full-time housekeepers
• 2 Full-time maintenance people

Qualifications and Characteristics
• Able to interact, communicate and work efficiently with the family and family office personnel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and service oriented.
• Hands-on approach to managing. Mush be a team player, approachable, be able to mentor and retain existing staff. 
• Work well independently and as a team member when appropriate.
• Solid understanding of interior and exterior home mechanical, smart home technology and equipment.
• Possess a considerate, courteous, and sensitive attitude toward performing all tasks, whether surrounded by the family or when working alone; manage the day's tasks around the family's schedule to cause minimal disruption to the family's routines.
• Able to work longer hours and overtime as needed; flexible and available during the winter season. The family ususally leave after Easter to their other properties, through September.
• Must have long term intent, excellent references, and tenure.
• Able to communicate effectively and readily with principals.
• Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation of any limitations you may have to performing those essential functions.
• Able to work legally in the United States.
• Possesses a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record; can be insured at no material increment in cost.
• Willing to take a post-offer pre-employment physical, and, if requested, a drug screen.
• Proof of good credit history will be required. 

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform daily property inspections; test appliances and home systems to verify the security and integrity of the property.
• Prepare the residence prior to the principals' arrival (e.g., purchase newspapers, flowers, food, and beverages, communicate with the rest of the team at the families’ other properties and family office, updating and making everyone aware of any schedule or preference changes)
• Prepare the home seasonally to include: seasonal opening and closing, hurricane procedures, manage seasonal decor etc.
• Arrange for transportation to and from the airport.
• Arrange for and manage personal services while the family is in residence, including household cleaning, cooking, laundry etc.
• Provide personal assistant service to the family, such as concierge service, personal shopping, errands, event planning, and transportation.
• Review, negotiate, and approve invoices for utilities and service providers, forward invoices to the family office.
• Manage, schedule, perform yearly reviews for all domestic support, manage and schedule vendors and contractors, including landscaping, pool maintenance, irrigation system, cleaners, systems maintenance, pest control, and security.
• Work with the family office to prepare, monitor, and manage the household budget.
• Maintain petty cash and contractor payment records.
• Create and maintain a household manual.
• Arrange for seasonal storage and retrieval of outdoor furniture.
• Oversee home systems for seasonal adjustments.


Benefits and Salary:
• $120,000.00 to $145,000.00
• Local candidates preferred
