Location: River Oaks, Houston
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday | Approximately 9:30 AM – 6:00/7:00 PM (flexibility required)
Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annually, Full Benefits Package, 2 weeks paid vacation and 1 week sick leave

Position Overview

A large, fully staffed private residence in River Oaks is seeking a Full-Time House Manager to work in tandem with the existing House Manager. This role is hands-on and dynamic, supporting daily household operations while serving as a trusted point of contact for the Principal.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, polished, flexible, and unflappable—someone who can read the room, pivot when priorities change, and maintain a calm, professional presence at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Lead House Manager to ensure seamless daily operations

  • Serve as a go-to resource for the Principal and household staff

  • Manage household vendors, contractors, and service providers

  • Oversee and support household employees as needed

  • Run personal and household errands

  • Coordinate menus and assist with planning and execution of dinners and small events

  • Liaise with the kitchen and support culinary operations (kitchen or hospitality background strongly preferred)

  • Assist with travel coordination and on-the-ground support when required

  • Anticipate needs, troubleshoot proactively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Candidate Profile

  • Mature candidate with prior experience in a similar role 
  • Exceptionally organized with strong operational instincts

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with the latest security and smart home systems
  • Calm, composed, and able to pivot without frustration

  • Outgoing, personable, and emotionally intelligent—able to “read the room”

  • Seasoned household professional with discretion and polish

  • Comfortable working alongside another House Manager in a collaborative environment

  • Kitchen, hospitality, or service-driven background highly valued

  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required

  • Comfortable with a Principal who prefers verbal communication
