Position: House Manager
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32207 (St. Johns River)
Residence Size: 2,507 sq. ft. | 3 Bed / 3 Bath
Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 annually (DOE)
Employment Type: Initially 1099; full-time, in-house employment considered after evaluation period

Overview:
A private individual is seeking a highly capable, discreet, and proactive House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and ongoing care of a 2,500+ sq. ft. riverfront residence in Jacksonville, FL (32207). The ideal candidate will be service-minded, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing high-end private homes with a strong emphasis on health-conscious living and discretion.
This is a non-childcare, non-pet household best suited to a professional who enjoys structure, independence, and maintaining a calm, well-organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Full oversight of the residence, ensuring it is maintained in immaculate condition

Sourcing and managing a new cleaning service or domestic support team as needed

Calendar management for household vendors, maintenance, and seasonal tasks

Oversight of all home maintenance, vendors, and service providers

Routine inspections of all home systems (HVAC, appliances, lighting, etc.)

Coordinating home projects, repairs, deliveries, and service appointments

Running errands, managing grocery orders, returns, and personal shopping

Purchasing only organic groceries and non-toxic household and personal care products, unless otherwise specified

Supporting light food prep or kitchen organization with strict attention to severe dairy allergies and a gluten-free lifestyle

Managing household inventory, supplies, and vendor accounts

Light support with social engagements, guest readiness, and special events

Overseeing budgets, household expenses, and reimbursements

Ensuring the home is always well-stocked, clean, and guest-ready

Maintaining detailed household manuals, checklists, and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing a private residence

Experience supporting high-level households with health or dietary sensitivities preferred

Strong vendor management, organizational, and calendar coordination skills

Professional, trustworthy, and highly discreet

Tech-savvy; familiar with home automation systems and online scheduling platforms

Comfortable working independently without supervision

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
