Executive Housekeeper / House Manager – South Florida (Multiple Residences)

A very kind, respectful, and private family with residences in Palm Beach and Miami is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper / House Manager to oversee the daily operations, presentation, and maintenance of their homes.

The properties include an approximately 11,000 sq. ft. primary residence in Palm Beach, an approximately 4,000 sq. ft. Miami residence, and an approximately 2,000 sq. ft. guest apartment/mother-in-law suite.

This is a full-time, live-out role best suited for a polished, hands-on professional who enjoys maintaining a beautiful home, thrives in a service-oriented environment, and understands the rhythm and discretion required within a private household. The family values warmth, professionalism, hospitality, and calm energy. They greatly enjoy when their three adult children and partners visit, therefore the ideal candidate should be welcoming, guest-ready, and possess a natural understanding of professional boundaries.

Please note, the family has housekeeping services at all properties. The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring the principals have everything they need on a daily basis while in season. During the off-season months, the focus shifts toward deep cleaning, organization, inventories, and household projects. There is a strong team in place to support the right candidate, and the family provides the resources necessary for long-term success and a lasting working relationship.

Responsibilities

Household & Property Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and overall condition of all residences.
  • Ensure homes, grounds, and household systems are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
  • Monitor and coordinate maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, A/V, appliances, and IT systems.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections to ensure each property remains guest-ready and fully operational.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers while maintaining strong communication with the family office.
  • Review invoices, oversee service schedules, maintain warranties, inventories, household manuals, and SOP documentation.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining detailed household manuals, inventories, and organizational systems.
  • Oversee security access, keys, and household readiness at all properties.
  • Provide concise weekly updates to the Director of Residential Operations.

Executive Housekeeping & Residence Presentation

  • Maintain the residences to an impeccable standard of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
  • Daily hands-on housekeeping and maintenance throughout the homes will be required.
  • Additional support staff assist several times per week with deep cleaning and larger projects.
  • Coordinate seasonal and deep cleaning projects as needed.
  • Prepare homes in advance of principal and guest arrivals, including groceries, beverages, flowers, and household provisioning.
  • Maintain closets, wardrobes, linens, storage spaces, and dry cleaning with strong organizational systems.
  • Ensure all guest spaces remain polished, welcoming, and fully prepared at all times.

Hospitality & Personal Assistance

  • Coordinate with the household chef regarding provisioning and household supplies.
  • Assist with entertaining, meal service support, event setup, and cleanup as needed.
  • Handle errands, personal shopping, reservations, scheduling support, and concierge-style tasks.
  • Assist with the family’s two dogs, including occasional check-ins while the principals are traveling.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Prior experience working within a UHNW private household.
  • Strong executive housekeeping and household management background.
  • Polished, discreet, trustworthy, and highly organized.
  • Calm, proactive, service-oriented, and solutions-driven.
  • Hospitality-minded with a warm and welcoming personality.
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with vendors and support staff.
  • Tech savvy with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to maintain clear professional boundaries while creating a welcoming environment.
  • Excellent references, clean background, and strong driving record required.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time, live-out position
  • Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility
  • Typical hours are approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM depending on the family’s schedule
  • Some weekend coverage and flexibility required when the family is in residence or entertaining
  • Typical work week averages approximately 40–50 hours
  • Some remote administrative work may occasionally be completed from one of the residences, as the family values privacy
  • Weekly or bi-weekly travel to the Miami residence will be required to ensure the property remains maintained and guest-ready
  • Compensation range: $130,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience
