Position: Assistant House Manager
Location: Buckhead, Atlanta, GA
Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 (DOE) + benefits

A private principal in Buckhead is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Assistant House Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a primary residence. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong service mindset and prior experience in ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) household environments.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key partner to the House Manager, assisting in overseeing all aspects of household operations while also providing direct, hands-on support across the residence. This is an active role that requires flexibility, discretion, and a willingness to be fully engaged in the daily rhythm of the home.

Key Responsibilities:

Household Operations & Staff Support

  • Assist the House Manager in overseeing daily household operations and staff coordination
  • Support scheduling, task delegation, and project management for household staff
  • Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standard
  • Report maintenance needs, repairs, or concerns promptly
  • Provide coverage for the House Manager as needed

Hands-On Household Support

  • Perform and assist with daily housekeeping, laundry, and organization
  • Maintain the principal’s personal spaces, including bedroom, office, closets, and common areas
  • Manage inventory and provisioning of household and personal supplies
  • Assist with pet care, including feeding, walking, and coordinating appointments
  • Support vehicle upkeep and general household readiness

Service & Hospitality

  • Prepare and serve light meals, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages
  • Set, serve, and clear dining for daily meals, meetings, and special events
  • Assist with event preparation, execution, and post-event breakdown
  • Maintain kitchen organization and food safety standards

Administrative & Coordination

  • Work closely with the House Manager, Family Office, and additional staff to ensure seamless communication
  • Track and report daily activities, updates, and outstanding items
  • Assist with vendor coordination, contracts, and project oversight
  • Support calendar awareness and anticipate the principal’s needs based on schedule
  • Assist with budgeting support and invoice review as needed

Travel & Logistics

  • Assist with packing and unpacking for travel
  • Travel to additional residences as needed to support operations and readiness
  • Provide on-site support during travel periods when required

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a private household required
  • Strong understanding of high-level service standards and discretion
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with smart home systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Valid driver’s license and valid passport required

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be flexible with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Physically able to be on feet for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a home with pets and visiting family members
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
