Salary: $225,000 - $280,000 per year, plus housing and medical benefits (D.O.E.)
Overview:
A wonderful couple who we have had a long-term relationship seek to hire an experienced, professional domestic couple to manage their seasonal residences between New York and Palm Beach. The previous couple held the position for years.
This is a low-turnover household, and the ideal candidates will be discreet, physically fit, self-sufficient, and highly skilled in household management and fine dining preparation. The couple must take ownership of their responsibilities and work harmoniously to ensure the residences are always impeccably maintained.
Candidates must have exceptional culinary skills, capable of preparing gourmet meals at a 5-star level, and be comfortable serving both formally and informally. During the holidays, the couple’s children visit from college, so flexibility with scheduling is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Excellence:
- Prepare high-quality daily meals while accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Plan creative, seasonally appropriate menus and handle grocery shopping.
- Maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure top-tier food presentation.
- Ideally, at least one member of the couple should have formal chef training and experience in fine dining.
Household Management & Housekeeping:
- Maintain both residences in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
- Handle laundry and ironing, including the care of fine fabrics and delicate materials.
- Ensure high standards for furniture, antiques, and artwork preservation.
Vendor & Staff Oversight:
- Liaise with and oversee vendors, contractors, and support staff (e.g., gardeners, pool maintenance, security personnel).
- Manage household inventories and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Property Maintenance & Seasonal Transitions:
- Oversee routine maintenance and promptly address any household issues.
- Assist with seasonal transitions between New York and Palm Beach, including packing, unpacking, and property setup.
- Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of both homes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-end private residence.
- Outstanding culinary skills, with at least one member having formal chef training or extensive experience in gourmet cooking.
- Meticulous housekeeping abilities, with experience handling fine furnishings and delicate fabrics.
- Strong management skills to coordinate vendors, schedules, and household needs.
- Flexibility to accommodate seasonal changes, weekend shifts, and occasional holiday gatherings.
- Professionalism and discretion with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Long-term stability with excellent references and proven tenure in previous roles.
