Executive Housekeeper or Domestic Couple CLOSED

We have a fantastic opportunity for an executive housekeeper or domestic couple to work in N Dakota, 1 hour from Fargo.

This remote ranch is staffed. An incredible team consists of a hands-on estate manager, private chef, tutor, houseman/handyman, and exterior support staff caring for the ranch.

 

The family consists of five children and their parents. The children range in ages from 4-17 and are homeschooled by a private tutor. There are eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the home is 30,000 sq ft, and the family is looking at purchasing two other more significant properties near their primary residence.

This new position would eventually oversee the housekeeping support for the new purchases and staff as needed. The family lives and works in the home, and they are informal, friendly, and appreciative of their team. This home is a lived-in property, and it is not a show house; this is a functioning family who enjoys the outdoors and country living. The family is sophisticated, but their lives are straightforward and meaningful. The family is looking for candidates who are not egotistical and willing to support and grow in their role, building the 'A' team.

As executive housekeeper/couple, you will have complete oversight of all housekeeping responsibilities. Experienced candidates will understand what it will take to maintain a large home and the staffing required to make the home run smoothly. The family and Estate manager are open to up-staffing with support housekeepers.

Couples are welcome to apply; the role for a couple would focus primarily on housekeeping, supporting houseman responsibilities, setting tables, being tech-savvy, supporting vehicle maintenance, driving, changing light bulbs, etc.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 -50 hours a week. The position is full-time and open to experienced local candidates, or relocation and housing provided for experienced out-of-state candidates.

Proven history of living and working in remote areas would be advantageous, as the family wants to find candidates who enjoy living in the country and can deal with harsh winters.

The family understands that their home is isolated and is willing to offer a very generous package to interested candidate/candidates. Possible relocation
