Location: Puerto Rico

Salary: $150,000 to $190,000 per year with housing and benefits 

Schedule: Monday through Friday with weekend coverage as needed

Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Domestic Couple to manage a 2500 sq. ft home for a wonderful active senior gentleman. Our client is a busy gentleman, very friendly and engaging. He loves to travel and has home in Utah, Domenica Republic etc The ideal couple will travel to Miami to Dr. appointments and schedule and manage the gentleman’s travel details.

The ideal candidates will have experience managing a smart home with the latest technology and possess the initiative and proactivity to self-manage and handle maintenance tasks efficiently. The couple should have the skills to support formal and informal service. Candidates with prior experience living and working in the Caribbean encouraged to apply, conversational Spanish is a requirement. 

Our clients son and daughter in-law live in the same community. Part of the reasonability is to also maintain and manage their home. The couple are young, and hope to start a family in the near future. The evolution of the role involves our senior client moving into his son's home in a guest suite in a planned two years. The couple would continue to oversee both homes, and potentially assist with child care. 

Out client would like the couple to start in the next two weeks to a month.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the estates, including housekeeping, maintenance, and groundskeeping.
• Manage guest accommodations and ensure they are properly prepared for visitors. Making reservations in the community resort, following protocol, always respectful and polite. 
• Utilize and maintain smart home technology to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Handle household inventory, supplies, and budget management.
• Assist with event planning and coordination for occasional gatherings.
• Provide excellent service to the homeowners and guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Maintain security protocols and ensure the safety of the estate.
• Implement SOP's, and detailed digital House Manuals, Hurricane procedures etc. 
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contractors, as necessary.
• Have a food and beverage background - prepare informal meals, stock all food items, and assist with meal prep and service.
• Ideally, have a hands-on approach to maintaining the property. 
• Drive our senor client to appointments, accompany him and manage his calendar. Additionally, traveling with him to his other homes, preparing the houses for his arrival, stocking and maintaining all inventories. 

Requirements:

• Prior experience managing a large residence with guest accommodations.
• Prior experience maintaining watercraft/permits and maintenance. 
• Familiarity with smart home technology and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to maintenance and household management.
• Conversational Spanish proficiency in addition to English is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends occasionally. 
• Strong organizational and communication skills. Our senior client enjoys spirited conversation.
• Must have a hands-on approach to the maintaining the property - understand mechanical systems, have experience maintaining/managing the maintenance of generators, solar systems and confident trouble shoot electronics. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
