A lovely senior active couple is seeking a formally trained Domestic Couple to support their secondary residence in the Santa Barbara area.
This role involves managing a beautiful 19,000-square-foot residence that includes a guest cottage, outbuildings, and extensive gardens with fruit trees and ponds.
The ideal couple will bring a combination of domestic skills. One partner will be responsible for housekeeping, laundry, managing extensive wardrobes, packing and unpacking, running errands, and maintaining inventories. Light cooking may be required, typically simple breakfasts and lunches, as the family usually dines out for dinner.
The second partner will handle heavy cleaning, maintain the interior of the home, clean windows, manage other domestic staff, and coordinate with and manage vendors. The couple should have excellent communication skills and confident with all aspect of communication and technology.
The household is a combination of formal and informal settings. The couple should be highly detail-oriented, proactive in their approach to maintaining the home, possess a 24/7 mindset, and work seamlessly with other support staff and corporate personnel to ensure all property or household preferences are communicated and upheld. The family have pets, feeding and staying with the pets is required when the couple travel.
A guest cottage on the property is provided for the couple’s accommodation.
This position offers a competitive salary for highly skilled domestic couples.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, but weekend coverage may be expected from time to time.
