Senior Couple Seeks Domestic Couple for Seasonal Residence Management

Location: Seasonal residence between Palm Beach (winter) and Cape Cod (summer)

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year, housing, and medical benefits D/O/E

Overview: Our clients are a senior husband and wife and are searching for a professional and experienced domestic couple to manage their seasonal residences in Palm Beach and Cape Cod. The domestic couple will be responsible for handling various tasks including cooking, housekeeping, and managing vendors and support staff. This is an immediate hire for the right couple, offering competitive compensation, benefits, and private housing on the property at each location. The couple must have previous experience working in either Cape Cod or Palm Beach to be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Cooking: Prepare daily meals, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences. Plan menus, shop for groceries, and maintain a well-stocked kitchen inventory.
2. Housekeeping: Ensure the residences are kept clean, organized, and in impeccable condition at all times. Perform regular cleaning tasks, laundry, and ironing as needed.
3. Vendor and Support Staff Management: Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and other services as required. Manage support staff including gardeners, pool cleaners, and contractors to ensure the smooth operation of the residences.
4. Property Maintenance: Oversee routine maintenance tasks and address any issues promptly. Monitor security systems and ensure the safety and security of the properties.
5. Seasonal Transition: Assist with the transition between the Palm Beach and Cape Cod residences, including packing and unpacking belongings, seasonal cleaning, and preparing the properties for occupancy.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end residential setting. Experience managing multiple properties or seasonal residences is desirable.
2. Cooking Skills: Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of cuisines and accommodate special dietary needs. Knowledge of gourmet cooking techniques and presentation is a plus. Ideally have a formal culinary degree.
3. Housekeeping Abilities: Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of housekeeping best practices. Experience with delicate fabrics, antiques, and fine furnishings is preferred.
4. Management Skills: Ability to effectively manage vendors, contractors, and support staff. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
5. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and seasonal demands. Availability to work weekends and holidays when needed.
6. Discretion: Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Respect the privacy of the employers and uphold a high level of discretion.
