We are excited to offer a wonderful opportunity for a Domestic Couple to work in a remote property in Texas. Our clients are discreet Texans who use their property with family—children and grandchildren—a few times per year. The property is maintained in pristine condition at all times, and the Domestic Couple will play a key role in supporting this. The family are friendly, and polite; however a clear understanding of parameters is essential as the family come to relax and would like to experience a resort-style level of service when in residence. The family enjoy hunting, horse riding and being outdoors when at the property.

Responsibilities:

·         Mechanical Systems & Outdoor Maintenance: One individual will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical systems, supporting outdoor maintenance, coordinating vendors, and managing their work on the property. This includes overseeing the upkeep of the grounds and ensuring the property remains in top condition. There are generators, wells and pumps, swimming pools, ATV's, hunting equipment and the latest smart home technology that needs to be maintained. There is a team who maintain the grounds, approx. 5 acres. However, the role requires someone who is very hands-on who can fix simple plumbing, electrical and HVAC issues as they arise. 

·         Ex-Housekeeping & Interior Maintenance: The other person will be responsible for housekeeping duties, inventory management, wardrobe coordination, and the management of part-time housekeepers. Strong cooking abilities are required as the Executive Housekeeper will also be responsible for preparing family-style Tex-Mex and barbecue American meals.

·         Guest Management & Service: When the family, including children and grandchildren, visits, the couple will be expected to serve meals formally, manage incoming guests with a friendly, welcoming Texan demeanor, and always maintain a polished and professional appearance.

Ideal Candidate:

·         A mature, physically fit couple with experience in similar roles, ideally in a remote or private setting.

·         Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and interact with service providers and the family. Should be tech-savvy, have prior experience working with family office and understand the chain of command.

·         The ability to take ownership of the role, acting as the main point of contact between the family, their office, and all service providers.

·         The family is not seeking Michelin-star-level cooking but instead enjoys family-style Tex-Mex and barbecue American meals.

Qualifications:

·         Excellent references and a clean criminal background are required.

·         Experience in similar positions, with a genuine passion for country living.

·         Ability to work independently and as a team, providing exceptional service and maintaining the property to the highest standards.

Additional Information:

·         This position is set to start in the New Year.

·         Fluency in Spanish very desirable. 

·         There is a guest house for the couple and vehicle for work use.

Benefits:

$180K to $210,000 per year D/O/E
