Overview

A warm and welcoming private respectful, polite, mannerly Southern family based in Rome, Georgia is seeking a professional, proactive, and service-oriented Domestic Couple to oversee the interior and exterior operations of their 7,000 sq. ft. primary residence set on approximately 8 acres.

This is a live-out position ideally suited to a couple who work well together, take pride in maintaining a beautiful property, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to daily responsibilities.

The household consists of two principals and three children (15-year-old twins and a 13-year-old). The family values discretion, consistency, and a calm, polished presence.

Property Details

• 7,000 sq. ft. main residence (5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms)
• Third-floor guest area
• Guest house, pool, and gym
• 8 acres including maintained grounds, woodland, and ponds

Position Responsibilities

Exterior / Grounds & Property Management (Partner 1)

• Maintain all outdoor areas including lawns, trees, ponds, and general landscape upkeep
• Operate and maintain equipment (mower, hedge trimmer, weed eater, chainsaw, etc.)
• Perform light handyman duties: basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, painting, pressure washing
• Oversee and communicate with vendors and service providers
• Maintain family vehicles
• Assist with school pickups and errands as needed

Interior / Housekeeping & Household Management (Partner 2)

• Daily housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining overall cleanliness
• Laundry and wardrobe care
• Organization and household inventory management
• Light family meal preparation
• Coordinate with part-time cleaning service
• Ensure home is consistently guest-ready and operating smoothly

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience working as a Domestic Couple in a private household preferred
• Strong command of English (required)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Hands-on, proactive approach with a “no task too big or small” mindset
• Comfortable working around children and in a family-oriented environment
• Technically capable and confident with tools and home systems
• Polished, discreet, and service-focused demeanor
• Valid driver’s licenses and clean driving records

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000 to $150,000 combined annual salary (DOE)
