Position: Domestic Couple

Location: Atherton, California

Overview: Our Clients are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Domestic Couple to manage their beautiful 7,000 sq. ft. residence and its surrounding buildings. The ideal candidates will have a strong facilities background, exceptional housekeeping skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach to home maintenance and family assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

House Manager / Facilities:

• Maintain and repair plumbing systems
• Perform basic electrical work and other home repairs
• Coordinate with and supervise external professionals for larger repairs or maintenance tasks
• Drive the family to the airport and run various errands
• Pick up and drop off children at school and other activities

Housekeeping:

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the home is spotless
• Handle all laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and managing dry cleaning
• Assist with maintaining the exterior of the residence and any additional buildings
• Provide support in any other household tasks as needed
• Ensure the residence is ready for the family’s return, as they reside in the home for 6 to 9 months of the year

Additional Duties:

• Provide pet care for the family's dogs
• Assist with childcare as needed
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness throughout the home

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in household management and facilities maintenance
• Ability to perform plumbing, electrical, and general repair tasks
• Excellent housekeeping skills with attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to handle a fast-paced and dynamic household environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Willingness to assist wherever needed with a positive attitude

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $250,000 per year
• Comprehensive benefits package
• Live-out position
