Live-In Caregiver_ATL, GA - PLACED

We are seeking an experienced live-in caregiver for a lovely 75-year-old lady in Atlanta, GA.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN/LPN/CNA, who has exceptional experience with elderly care. Mrs. was fortunate to survive a brain anurism 9-years ago, which left the left side of her body paralized. We are looking for someone who is comfortable assisting with changing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Someone who can maintain a medication scheduled and assist with administering and keeping track of vitals. 

Mrs. is mentally sharp. Her needs are purely physical, so having someone who can act as a compassionate companion is important. Mr. is 88-years old and has been taking care of his wife for the past 9-years, but says that physically he is no longer able to handle the responsibility on his own. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist Mrs. out of bed.
• help her to dress for the day.
• assist with her hair and makeup.
• light cooking and help with cutting up food (she can feed herself with her right hand, but is unable to use a knife and fork to cut her own food.)
• Light housekeeping assistance.
• running errands will be greatly appreciated. 

The perfect candidate will live-in with the couple in their spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home. 

It's important to note that prior to seeking in-home care, Mr. placed Mrs. in a senior care facility, where they had a horrific experience. Therefore, we need someone who is patient, kind, and compassionate - a true caregiver who is willing to help out wherever needed. Flexibility with hours is important, as there is no set time when Mrs. may need assistance throughout the day. 

Must:

Pass a full criminal background check. 

Have a valid driver's license. 

Have excellent, verifiable references. 

Salary:

$1,000 - $1,500 weekly 

Relocation for the right candidate
