Position Overview
A warm, respectful family is seeking a compassionate, full-time live-in Companion to provide support and companionship for a wonderful senior lady in the early stages of dementia who is also undergoing treatment for cancer.
This is not a high-acuity caregiving position. She remains functional and independent with many aspects of her daily life. She ambulates independently, uses the restroom without assistance, enjoys maintaining a daily routine, and still enjoys cooking. However, due to mild cognitive impairment, she occasionally forgets simple tasks throughout the day and benefits from gentle reminders, supervision, and the reassuring presence of a caring companion.
She is a kind, quiet, and pleasant woman who enjoys conversation and being engaged. She would welcome someone who enjoys spending time together, taking walks, visiting a local park, going out for lunch, or simply sharing the day together.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a compassionate individual seeking a meaningful, long-term role while becoming an extension of a caring family.
