A wonderful, caring, and compassionate family in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Companion or CNA for their 88-year-old mother, who is in the early stages of dementia.
This is primarily a Caregiver/Companion position as the mother is not yet at a stage where she needs assistance with all tasks; however, she is forgetful, and needs assistance with medication management, remembering to eat her meals, etc. The family is seeking someone to look after her and ensure she is able to complete her daily tasks without difficulty.
The ideal candidate is patient, understanding, and is confident driving, assisting around the house with light housekeeping, getting her dressed, and being able to take and chart vitals.
Currently, the family is only considering local candidates at this time, or candidates who are connected to the area and would like to move back. This position has the option to be live-in, and the family is offering a private bedroom and bathroom.
To Apply:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Caregiver, Companion, CNA, or in a similar role.
- Must pass a detailed criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license, with a reliable vehicle and clean driving record.
- Must have outstanding, verifiable professional references.
Schedule:
20 hours/week, with the possibility of additional hours.
Compensation:
- $35,000 - $40,000
- Living arrangements offered.
