We seek to hire a CNA/LPN caregiving professional to support a wonderful senior lady in Seattle, Washington

Our client currently resides at an assisted-living community in Seattle 98102, where the staff oversee her care. She suffers from incontinence, anxiety, social anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome and has recovered from colon cancer. Our client is a gentle, very clean, detailed, neat, and tidy person by nature. Her family would like her to socialize, get involved in the retirement community activities and attend evening meals downstairs in the dining room. Due to her medical condition, she has become somewhat reclusive and depressed, realizing her age and that the end of life could be near. We are looking for two candidates with CNA/Caregiver/LPN experience to work 30 or 40 hours a week covering 24-hour shifts.

The team at the retirement community covers day shifts - showering, dressing, etc.- however, any personal accidents throughout the day are not addressed by the facility staff, so changing undergarments etc. would be part of this role.

Until recently, our client was managed with just the care of her independant living facility. She now requires additioanl care, and two caregivers are needed.

Our client weighs between 165 and 175 lbs., suffers from mild early-onset dementia, and requires assistance moving. She would benefit from companionship throughout the day; engaging in conversation and ideally engaging our client in any activities the community offers.

 

This position pays $35 to $40 an hour, D/O/E

Medical contribution, and two weeks paid vacation offered.

Immediate start for qualified candidates with the credentials to support a 93-year-old and all her medical needs AND a clear command of the English language.

Candidates who are compassionate, caring, softly spoken and, of course, local would be desired.

Must pass a level 3 criminal and detailed background check.

Must have excellent prior tenure and references to be considered.

Must have up-to-date certifications, minimum CNA care giving background/certification to be considered.

Seattle WA 98102. Immediate start, local condidates or candidates in surrounding states. No relocation.
