About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess or former yachting professional ready to transition into an elite, land-based estate management role. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented, hospitality-driven individual with the highest standards in service, presentation, and organization.
The successful candidate will oversee multiple properties, manage and train housekeeping staff, and implement best-in-class cleaning and organizational practices. This role requires someone passionate about creating structure, maintaining consistency, and ensuring the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Oversight: Supervise and lead a team of housekeepers across multiple residences, ensuring adherence to top-level cleaning protocols and luxury standards.

Training & SOP Development: Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning, service, and organization to ensure uniformity across properties.

Inventory Management: Maintain and track household inventories, including cleaning supplies, pantry items, linens, and luxury wardrobe pieces.

Wardrobe Management: Oversee extensive designer wardrobes, including care, cataloging, seasonal rotation, packing/unpacking, and garment preservation.

Property Oversight: Provide management and coordination for properties nationally, ensuring all systems, staff, and maintenance schedules are followed.

Event Support: Assist with private events, formal dinners, and special occasions as needed.

Vendor Coordination: Schedule and manage vendors, contractors, and specialty service providers.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure impeccable standards are maintained at all times.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Background: Chief Stewardess / Chief Stew experience in yachting or equivalent ultra-luxury hospitality background.

Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to train and mentor staff.

Mindset: Service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with a strong ability to anticipate needs.

Experience:

Hands-on housekeeping and deep cleaning knowledge

Strong understanding of wardrobe care (fine fabrics, couture garments)

Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Salary: $150,000+ annually (depending on experience)
