Chef/Manager Couple for Two Properties PLACED

We are looking for a take-charge, live-in, relaxed Couple to maintain a large home in Charleston and a second home on Kiawah Island, SC
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch when the clients are home, possibly leave a prepared dinner. One person should have strong cooking skills, ideally professionally trained, with the ability to plan menus and execute casual or formal dinner parties.
• Order and arrange flowers, utilizing plants from the gardens of both residences.
• Have a polite phone manner, take messages, understanding discretion, confidentiality, and family security.
• Calendar management, texting, having an understanding of smart home technology and remote access to include Crestron and Lutron systems.
• Full responsibility for both homes’ maintenance, both preventative and immediate, and should have a 24/7 mentality by taking ownership of the role.
• Purchasing gifts as needed, updating existing gift lists, and shipping and tracking gifts.
• Driving family to appointments, maintaining vehicle insurance, registration and maintenance, to include water craft permits. Being familiar with boats would be advantageous.
• Preparing the summer property for opening for the season and closing after. Creating detailed house manuals when time permits. The clients normally travel for 4-6 weeks in the summer.

This opportunity can be live-in or live out.
Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience as a couple to be considered.
Ideally local candidates, but relocation may be considered.
Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000
