Butler/Valet/House Manager

Location: Ormond Beach, Florida

Position Type: Independent Contractor

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Butler/Valet/House Manager to oversee the daily operations of an 8,500 square foot oceanfront residence located in Ormond Beach. The client is a single male in his 70's who is in the medical field. He is in excellent physical shape and follows a strict routine, including workouts and diet. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with ease.

Responsibilities:

  1. Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the residence, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry- hiring outside help when necessary.
  2. Meal Preparation: Prepare breakfast and lunch according to the client's dietary preferences and leave dinner ready in the evenings, before exit.
  3. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and service providers for various household needs, including repairs, maintenance, and deliveries.
  4. Supervision: Oversee the cleaning team and ensure they adhere to high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
  5. Pet Care: Provide care and attention to the client's puppy, including feeding, walking, and grooming.
  6. Calendar Management: Maintain the client's schedule, including appointments, meetings, and social engagements.
  7. Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel plans, including transportation and accommodation, for both domestic and international trips.
  8. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as managing client's correspondence, answer calls and take messages, and organizing the mail and other documents.
  9. Remote Work: Ability to work remotely on certain days while ensuring all responsibilities are fulfilled.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  2. Strong administrative skills with proficiency in organizing schedules and managing tasks.
  3. Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that require strength and stamina.
  4. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end residential setting.
  5. Flexibility to work some irregular hours and weekends if needed.
  6. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  7. Respect for privacy and confidentiality.
  8. Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to the client's needs and preferences.

 Immediate start available with a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 per year.
