Position: Runner /Butler / Household Assistant
Location: Buellton – Solvang, CA (Local Candidates Preferred) - Santa Ynez area
Compensation: $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday: 35-40 hours (June, July, August)
Overview:
A private household in the Buellton–Solvang area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Butler / Household Assistant to support daily household needs. The ideal candidate will be service-minded, professional, and highly organized, with a strong work ethic and the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of the principals with discretion and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Run errands including shopping, pick-ups/drop-offs, and deliveries

Provide support for basic household tasks and light organization

Ensure the household vehicle(s) are clean, fueled, and well-maintained

Drive principals to appointments and events as needed

Handle incoming deliveries and household correspondence

Maintain inventory of household essentials and restock as necessary

Coordinate with vendors or service providers as requested

Support with hospitality for occasional guests or events
Requirements:

Outstanding driving record (clean DMV report required)

Strong familiarity with the Buellton–Solvang and the Valley area

Professional appearance and courteous demeanor

Strong communication and time-management skills

Able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of service

Discretion and respect for household privacy is essential

Legal to work in the U.S. with verifiable references
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as a butler, chauffeur, or personal assistant
