A wonderful senior couple who are in excellent physical and cognitive health, seek to hire a formally trained Live-In Butler to join their long-established household. The principals maintain an active lifestyle and have cultivated an exceptional working environment where staff are respected, appreciated, and often remain with the family for many years.

The primary residence is a beautifully maintained 17-acre estate in Sands Point on the North Shore of Long Island. During the winter months, the family resides in Palm Beach, Florida, for approximately four months each year, where the successful candidate will also travel and be provided with private accommodations. The family also spends time at their residence in Cashiers, North Carolina, and maintains a Manhattan apartment.

This is a rare long-term opportunity for a polished, service-minded professional who enjoys traditional private service, works well within an established household team, and takes genuine pride in anticipating the needs of discerning principals.

Living Accommodations

The successful candidate will be provided with a beautifully appointed private carriage house on the Sands Point estate featuring:

• Two bedrooms
• Two bathrooms
• Ideal accommodations for a single individual

While in Palm Beach, private accommodations are provided in a separate apartment attached to the residence with its own private entrance.

Please note: Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated in the provided residence.

Schedule

Wednesday through Sunday

Regular days off are Monday and Tuesday. Flexibility is expected based on the family's travel schedule, entertaining, and household requirements.

Responsibilities

The Butler will provide traditional white-glove service while assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the family's multiple residences.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Formal Butler service for family meals and entertaining
• White-glove food and beverage service
• Greeting and caring for guests
• Maintaining china, crystal, silver, fine linens, and household inventories
• Wardrobe management, packing and unpacking for travel
• Coordinating dry cleaning and garment care
• Household procurement and inventory management
• Running errands and personal shopping
• Chauffeuring the principals throughout Long Island, Manhattan, Palm Beach, and surrounding areas as required
• Confidently navigating Manhattan traffic and appointments
• Assisting with travel logistics and preparation between residences
• Working closely alongside an exceptional Private Chef and a loyal long-standing household team
• Light housekeeping while ensuring the residence is maintained to impeccable presentation standards
• Maintaining terraces, porches, and outdoor entertaining areas
• Watering flowers and assisting with the overall exterior presentation of the property
• Caring for the family's 3 beloved dogs (two Shih Tzus and one Golden Retriever), including feeding, walking, and coordinating grooming appointments
• Assisting with weekend family gatherings involving children and grandchildren
• Supporting seasonal entertaining in Palm Beach, where the family hosts more frequently during the winter season

• A clean driving record with confidence navigating Long Island, Manhattan, and the Hamptons
• Experience managing household inventories and maintaining exceptional presentation standards
• A polished, professional appearance with impeccable grooming
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to comfortably perform an active, hands-on role
• Absolute discretion, professionalism, and emotional maturity
• A calm, positive demeanor with no ego and a genuine team-first attitude
• The ability to work collaboratively within an established household
• Flexibility to travel seasonally between New York, Palm Beach, and occasionally North Carolina
• A clear command of the English language, both written and verbal
