Butler

An ultra-high net worth family in Palo Alto, CA, needs a professional, formally trained Butler. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee functions from the point of conception to include working with security, invites and tracking of correspondence, sourcing caterers, valets, cleaning crews, etc.
• Managing vendors, to include sourcing, managing, and respectfully maintaining relationships with service providers
• Comfortable working with interior designers and architects
• Tracking packages
• Understand and implement protocol/manuals/SOP’s
• Support housekeeping 
• Packing and unpacking with excellent wardrobe management
• Knowledge of floral arrangements and event setup
• Supporting the private chef with food prep and setting a beautiful table
• Serving hors d'oeuvres
• Must have a clean, confident, and charming appearance and personality
• Excellent food and beverage service & management
• Stock management
• Excellent bartending service
• Knowing modern trends and styles would be advantageous
• Ability to provide the ultimate experience to the principals’ guests
• Ability to travel with the family as needed
• Drive the principals as needed 

Position Details

• Salary: $90,000 to $120,000
• This full-time position requires flexible availability
• A minimum of 3 years as a private butler is required 
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a background check
