Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 annually - DOE

Position Overview
An Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) mature couple is seeking an experienced and professional Butler / Valet to provide exceptional service and household support across their residences in Boston, New York, and the Hamptons.
The position will primarily support the principal, a senior gentleman, with day-to-day personal service, wardrobe management, travel preparation, and organizational oversight. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of formal and informal service experience, polished presentation, and an intuitive understanding of discretion and confidentiality within a high-profile household.
Lifestyle & Residence Overview
The couple maintain a primary New York residence at Central Park Tower, where the butler will oversee inventories, guest services, and event coordination. Responsibilities include greeting and escorting guests from the lobby to the tower’s exclusive private restaurant, 10 Cubed, assisting with seating, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. On occasion, the principals host intimate gatherings or hors d’oeuvres receptions in their apartment before transitioning to dinner within the tower.
In Boston, the principals maintain both a large estate in Brookline and a waterfront apartment downtown, where they spend much of their time. Their daily routine is relaxed and informal, yet they expect — and generously reward — the highest levels of professionalism, discretion, and respect for boundaries.
During the summer season in the Hamptons, household operations and entertaining increase significantly. The home is fully staffed with a chef and housekeeping team, and the butler will coordinate service and hospitality for family and guests. The role requires comfort and poise around VIPs, celebrities, athletes, and political dignitaries, as the principals frequently host high-profile guests in their home.
Key Responsibilities

Provide butler and valet services, including wardrobe organization, packing and unpacking, and daily outfit preparation.

Maintain inventories of clothing, personal items, and household supplies across all residences.

Oversee table and tray setup, silver polishing, and light housekeeping related to service areas.

Assist with event support including setup, service, and guest hospitality.
- Assist Mr. with phone, email, scheduling, and personal correspondence; must be highly tech-savvy and detail-oriented in managing digital communications.

Perform errands and vendor coordination, driving the couple at times to dinner, ensuring all requests are completed efficiently.

Manage basic household organization and upkeep when principals are in residence.

Support travel arrangements and logistics, ensuring smooth transitions between homes.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within UHNW or high-profile households.

Strong background in formal and informal service (butlering, table service, tray presentation).

Experience providing valet services, including wardrobe management and garment care.

Discretion and confidentiality are essential; must maintain the highest level of professionalism.

Basic culinary or food preparation skills preferred, though not required.

Housing & Travel
This is a live-out position, with housing provided only when traveling between residences. The ideal candidate may be based in New York with travel to Boston, where housing is available during assignments, or based in Boston with accommodations provided when working in New York or the Hamptons. Travel between locations will be arranged and supported by the family.
